Why We Need You...

The entire world is currently focused on the disaster in Haiti. Although there have been many ongoing disaster relief efforts to the island, the majority of these efforts are centered on Port-Au-Prince.

Speak the Word Ministries has been working for the past two and a half years in a small village outside Port-Au-Prince and Ti’ Goave which is on the outskirt west of the city. The people there are also in dire need and, our relief efforts will be focused at those locations.

Speak the Word Ministries’ Mission Is Three Fold:

A. SPEAK THE WORD PASTORS ASSOCIATION
The Over 25 Haitian pastors are currently a part of the Pastors Association.
Most of our help will be channeled through the pastors to the people.

B. SPEAK THE WORD ELEMENTARY ACADEMY
The Speak the Word Elementary Academy with two hundred and fifty students currently enrolled.
We current pay the salaries of (eight) teachers.

C. SPEAK THE WORD ORPHANAGE (Our Most Recent Endeavor)
We will rent a house in Ti’ Goave that we will personally inspect to verify satisfactory conditions.
Orphans under the age 10 will be cared for at the orphanage.
Our future goal is to build a facility of our own.
